This is the house (the second floor) Victor Hugo and his wife Adele moved into October 1832 when Victor was 30 years old. They lived in this house for 16 years. There were all sorts of pictures of Victor and his family....two children, father....There was also a school fieldtrip taking place, so we didn't get to take too many pictures of the "Chinese Living Room" (which is where the children's lecture was taking place). Victor Hugo died in his bedroom in this house in 1885. One thing the museum operators had done was frame and hang a huge variety of Les Miserables posters throughout the stairwells.
